As a society, we tend to place a lot of weight and value on grand gestures. As a result, we donโt appreciate how much consistency anchors and grounds our professional and personal lives, and itโs often overshadowed by another force โ intensity. Intensity is often used to make up (or cover up) for being inconsistent. Iโm not talking about surprises or doing things differently. Iโm talking about people who have no rhyme or reason for how theyโre going to show up and behave. When decisions make a U-turn that feels random, reactionary and untethered by coherence and facts, it can severely damage trust. #trust #leadership #culture

Balancing our ego with the expectations of others is not always easy.I've seen many talented individuals whose brilliance was overshadowed because of not wanting to appear "too selfish".Our ego in its purest form deserves to be seen and heard.
